Instead, I depend on my extensive cross-media design experience. I rely on a solid strategy to build upon. I bank on my ability to work ahead of the trends. And I trust in my gift to question everything.

Honestly, I think the band, Boston, pretty much summed up my approach to design: “It’s more than a feeling.”

That's what I try to do every day. To create clean, inventive and usable designs, on the web and in print. I currently work at Colossal Squid in Chicago, but I'm always game for a side project or two. Holla at me and we'll discuss.

Obama BATON is now LIVE.

Obama Baton

To go along with the logo design, just a simple adaption of the Obama site for Obama Baton. With the efforts of  El Gaffney and my buds at Hustlewood, we are now ready for you to show your support.

What is Obama Baton? On October 12 (CHI) and November 2 (NYC), a blue baton will be carried to a marathon starting line and passed along to a fellow runner. He or she will pass it on to another. And so on for 26.2 miles. Until the final person carries (or people carry) the Obama Baton across the finish line as a symbol of how one man has inspired individuals to take collective action.

How to show your support? Join either the Chicago Team or New York City Team or both. Download the sticker and put it up anywhere and everywhere. And we will see you at the marathon(s) running or cheering on your fellow supporters.

Thanks for the props Peacock Nine and the help spreading the word. The timeline was very aggressive but it was a lot of fun working with both El Gaffney (http://www.elgaffney.com/), Clay and Hustlewood. Seeing this idea develop has been an amazing ride.
