A little sneak peak at what I have got myself into. Pretty freak’n cool. The Manifest Digital Office has a very open layout with a gorgeous view of the Chicago skyline, an awesome office appeal and an elevated desk with a Steelcase chair. It’s what I have always imagined and more. I am now finishing up my second week and I am happier then ever that I made the switch from the ad agency lifestyle to the interactive shop atmosphere. I have already worked on a few projects which has been an incredible experience. I have helped out with a new site design concept to creating the creative for a new biz pitch to answering an RFP which required the “BIG” idea thinking. I am looking forward to my next challenge and the future here at Manifest Digital. It’s like I am living the dream.

I am in the mist of my first week at Manifest Digital and have been enjoying every bit of it. As you can tell, a lot has changed since life on Michigan Ave. From the sheek advertising style of Chicago to the reconditioned warehouse of the West Loop, a sense of fitting in is tossed around in my head. Equiped with 15 foot ceilings, history filled brick walls, exposed wooden beams and an open layout, it seems somebody has read my mind about an ideal working environment. The atmosphere here is far from what I am used too. A laid back, cooperative mind-set is what I have experienced, which is, in my opinion, the best way to work. The “no I in team” approach is actually taken seriously. I am very exciting about my future here and I look forward to the many challenges ahead.

Last Thursday, July 3rd was my last day at Hoffman York. While only spending a short time there, I met a lot of wonderful people. And every once and awhile, I got to do some fun work. I did get to experience the office transformation but still a work in progress. To everyone at HY, thank you for everything and I look forward in seeing all very soon.

This is karenkevinwedding.com. Karen and I created this site for our guest, as a central location where you can learn a bit more about the event. And maybe a bit more about us.
From descriptions of the location, photos of the accommodations in Longboat Key, and some of the decisions Karen makes in the months and weeks before our day, it’ll all be here.

A switch has been made. More then just to a new place of employment, but down a new design path. No longer worrying about print, but all interactive all the time. I will be moving into a Senior Interactive Designer role at Manifest Digital located in the West Loop of Chicago. Manifest Digital is a fully-intergrated interactive marketing agency that services clients such as Sony, NEC, Kitchen Aid, & Wilson to name just a few. I am very excited about joining the team and making the most of this great opportunity. Over the years, interactive design has been woven into my career in agency and freelance work. It has always found me and I have always loved the challenges interactive design brings to the table. I seem to have a niche for it and so it’s time for me to embrace it.
I would also like to thank Hoffman York for everything. Everyone there has been very supportive and I will continue to help them out up until my last day. It has been a wonderful ride but like they say, “All good things must come to an end.”

No Warm Up (NWU as I call it.) new site design. Just another side project to help out some friends with a “cool,” “clean” & “simple” site design. NWU is a 12-person marketing blog that solves problems and create ideas as a unit. I also designed the logo. In the development stage and from what I hear, should be launched soon.
