Instead, I depend on my extensive cross-media design experience. I rely on a solid strategy to build upon. I bank on my ability to work ahead of the trends. And I trust in my gift to question everything.

Honestly, I think the band, Boston, pretty much summed up my approach to design: “It’s more than a feeling.”

That's what I try to do every day. To create clean, inventive and usable designs, on the web and in print. I currently work at Colossal Squid in Chicago, but I'm always game for a side project or two. Holla at me and we'll discuss.

 Colossal Squid

A few months ago, I joined the creative team at Colossal Squid Industries as a Design Lead. So far, so AWESOME! It has been an amazing ride thus far.

Colossal Squid Industries is an independent digital creative agency. We help extend brands across fragmented digital channels. Interactive, social, branded games, augmented reality - we call it all digital adverstuff. We’re neither a traditional ad agency nor a production company. We’re more of a technological secret society, a confederation of interactive craftspeople hell-bent on creating staggering online work for our clients.”

I am currently working on the Kimberly Clark account which has been a wonderful experience. The members of the team are smart, funny and just enjoyable to work with. I have learned so much from my peers and am excited about the Squid’s and my future. The launch of the project I am currently working is at the end of March so, keep a look out. It’s a good one. So proud of it already!  Here are some other images of the Squid…

Manifest Digital launches new brand and phase one of the web site. With all the change, manifest has also found a new home at 600 W. Chicago. All this great design work was done by Laureen Feeny, Christine Davis & Jim Jacoby.  All the crazy flash was done by Danny Davis. The brand and web site are continuing to grow with a lot of great additions in the forecast. Check out some of the goodies below.

Hustlewood is up and running. Went live on a Friday evening. That should tell you something. If you ever  need a little help coming up with ideas, a design for that idea and how to market that idea, H3 can help. H3 is always down to help out anyone large or small. We do this because of the all love for a good challenge, to keep our tools sharp and to learn more. To see what’s happening on a more daily basis, check out Th3 Wood. Enjoy it!
